TECHNOLOGY BANK.

The Technology Bank project is unique in that it benefits adults, youths, and families.

Individual adults and youths can receive other items such as CD-RW discs, computer games, etc., in exchange for documented dollar-hours earned through volunteerism and achievement.  Top priority goes to Technology Support Assistants (TSA) or volunteers who support the operation of each community computer center. Typically, TSA's are middle and high school students who are savvy enough to do participant recruitment, low-level trouble-shooting, make minor upgrades, and conduct tutorials on instructional software programs.

Families are eligible to receive free computer systems based on (a) completion of an 8-hour basic computer literacy course and (b) assurances from referring Partner Organizations that the family member(s) have completed or are currently enrolled in a program that promotes self-sufficiency, i.e., GED, Career Development, etc.

If you or your organization or company wish to make a contribution to this project, please contact us today at netspan@icodinc.org or 706-583-8001. In most instances, eligible families have already been identified, so your donated computer systems will be put to good use in no time at all!  Arrangements will be made to pick all items as soon as possible!
